AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE SIXTH DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE IN THE SIXTH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT OF THE PROVINCE OF CEBU AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representative of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Public Works and Highways, a sixth district engineering office in the Sixth Congressional District of the Province of Cebu to be located in Mandaue City, to be known as the Cebu Sixth District Engineering Office.

Section 2. The said district engineering office shall comprise the cities of Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue and the municipalities of Consolacion and Cordova.7!ᕼdMᗄ7

Section 3. The Secretary of Public Works and Highways shall include in the Department's program the operationalization of the Cebu Sixth District Engineering Office, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 4. The relevant provisions of Sections 2 of Republic Act No. 9218 and all other laws, decrees, orders, rules and regulations are hereby modified or amended accordingly.

Section 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
