DECLARING WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2001, AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING DAY IN THE CITY OF GENERAL SANTOS
WHEREAS, Wednesday, September 5, 2001, marks the 33rd Charter Day anniversary of the City of General Santos;
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of General Santos be given full opportunity to celebrate this event with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Wednesday, September 5, 2001, as a special non-working day in the City of General Santos.
