DECLARING THURSDAY, AUGUST 30, 2001, AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING DAY IN THE CITY OF MANDAUE

WHEREAS, Thursday, August 30, 2001, marks the 32nd Charter Day anniversary of the City of Mandaue;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of Mandaue be given full opportunity to celebrate this event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27 of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Thursday, August 30, 2001, as a special non-working day in the City of Mandaue.
