DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 22, 2001, AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LILOY, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Liloy will be celebrating its 50th Foundation Day anniversary on Wednesday, August 22, 2001;

WHEREAS, it was on such a date that former President Elpidio Quirino signed Executive Order No. 469, s. 1951, which made Liloy a Municipality;

WHEREAS, the residents of the Municipality of Liloy desire to celebrate with fitting ceremonies this event in their towns history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27 of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 22, 2001, as a special non-working day in the Municipality of Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte.
