DECLARING THURSDAY, AUGUST 2, 2001, AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING DAY IN THE CITY OF KABANKALAN

WHEREAS, Thursday, August 2, 2001, marks the 4th Charter Day anniversary of the City of Kabankalan;

WHEREAS, in order for the people of this city to actively participate and give meaning to the celebration, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Kabankalan has requested that the aforesaid date be declared as a special non-working holiday for the City of Kabankalan.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Thursday, August 2, 2001, as a special non-working day in the City of Kabankalan.1aшphi1
