CREATING AND DESIGNATING CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND SITUATED IN BARANGAY MILAGROS, ESPERANZA, AGUSAN DEL SUR, AS A SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916 AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995, as amended by Republic Act No. 8748, and upon recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate as a special economic zone, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916, as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and Resolution No. 00-304 dated 21 September 2000 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, an area located in Barangay Milagros, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur, to be known as SHANNALYNE TECHNOLOGICAL AND ENVIRON-MENTAL PARK (STEP), consisting of TWO MILLION FIVE HUNDRED EIGHTY THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY (2,580,460) SQUARE METERS, more or less, as defined by the following technical description:

Beginning at a point marked “1” being N. 76 – 15E., 923 m. straight distance from the junction of Pusilao River and Bolo Creek.

thence N. 89 deg. 00" E., 1,535.00 m. to point 3;
thence S. 04 deg. 47" E., 1,377.8 m. to point 4;
thence S. 55 deg. 20" W., 215.00 m. to point 5;
thence S. 87 deg. 55" W., 1,717.00 m. to point of

beginning; all points are marked and set on the ground with conc. cyl. mons. 30 x 60 cms.; bearing true; and was approved on October 12, 2000.1aшphi1
