DECLARING MONDAY, MARCH 27, 1989, AS “ARAW NG SAN JUAN” IN SAN JUAN, METRO MANILA.

WHEREAS, Monday, March 27, 1989, marks the political independence of the Municipality of San Juan, Metro Manila; and

WHEREAS, the residents of San Juan, Metro Manila, should be afforded the opportunity to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, March 27, 1989 as “Araw Ng San Juan”, in San Juan, Metro Manila. The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.
