DECLARING MARCH 4-11, 1973, AS NATIONAL CREDIT DISCIPLINE WEEK.

WHEREAS, in order to instill credit discipline in our people, particularly among delinquent borrowers who have accumulated tremendous arrears with government financing institutions; and

WHEREAS, in line with the administration’s call for national discipline there is need to educate our people in the wise use of credit;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from March 4–11, 1973, as National Credit Discipline Week under the auspices of the Credit Management Association of the Philippines.1aшphi1
