DECLARING SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 1972, AS JOSE ABAD SANTOS DAY.

WHEREAS, the birthday anniversary of Jose Abad Santos, jurist, patriot and martyr, falls on February 19, 1972; and

WHEREAS, his martyrdom will remain forever as an inspiring symbol of the purest ideals of the Filipino people;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Saturday, February 19, 1972, as Jose Abad Santos Day.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
