DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 2, 1972, AS A SPECIAL

PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF BUTUAN.

WHEREAS, Wednesday, August 2, 1972, marks the anniversary of the foundation of the City of Butuan; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the residents thereof be given opportunity to celebrate this milestone of their city’s history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 2, 1972, as a special public holiday in the City of Butuan.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
