DECLARING THURSDAY, JUNE 14, 1972, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BOHOL AND THE CITY OF TAGBILARAN
WHEREAS, Thursday, June 14, 1972, marks the first death anniversary of the late Carlos P. Garcia, former President of the Philippines and one of the outstanding leaders of this country; and
WHEREAS, the people of Bohol, his birthplace, should be given full opportunity to pay homage to one of their province’s greatest sons;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Thursday, June 14, 1972, as a special public holiday in the province of Bohol and the City of Tagbilaran.1aшphi1
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
