DECLARING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 1971, AS a SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR AND PAGADIAN CITY.

WHEREAS, Friday, September 17, 1971, marks the nineteen anniversary of the creation of the province of Zamboanga del Sur; and

WHEREAS, the people of the province should be given opportunity to celebrate this milestone in the history of their province;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Friday, September 17, 1971, as a special public holiday in the province of Zamboanga del Sur and in Pagadian City;
