DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JULY 7, 1971, AS a SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN CUENCA, BATANGAS.

WHEREAS, Wednesday, July 7, 1971, marks the death anniversary of the late Col. Pedro Pasia, educator, resistance leader, four-term mayor and exemplary public servant of Cuenca, Batangas; and

WHEREAS, the residents of said town should be afforded the opportunity to render homage to their former chief executive;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Wednesday, July 7, 1971, as a special public holiday in Cuenca, Batangas.
