MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 838, April 14, 1971 ] DESIGNATING THE PERIOD FROM JUNE 1 TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1971, FOR THE ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGNS OF COMMUNITY CHESTS AND COUNCILS ORGANIZATIONS IN THE PHILIPPINES. To enable Community Chest and Council organizations in the Philippines to carry on the funding of community health and welfare services in their respective area, I, FLORES BAYOT, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby designate the period from June 1 to September 30, 1971, for their Annual Educational and Fund Campaigns. I call upon all residents, firms and organizations in the areas of their respective operation to support these campaigns and to give generously to the Community Chest and Council organizations which unite into one annual appeal the health and welfare needs of the various Red Feather Agencies in their respective areas.
