DECLARING MONDAY, JULY 1, 1968, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN BASILAN CITY.

WHEREAS, Monday, July 1, 1968 marks the seventieth anniversary of the charter of Basilan City; and

WHEREAS, the residents of that city should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their City’s History;

NOW, THEREFORE, I FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, July 1, 1968, as a special public holiday in Basilan City.1aшphi1
