DECLARING SATURDAY, DECEMBER 31, 1960, AS A SPECIAL HOLIDAY

WHEREAS, the thirtieth day (Friday) of December, 1960, and the first day (Sunday) of January, 1961, being holidays, the’ thirty-first day (Saturday) of December, 1960, may be declared a special public holiday to enable the people to enjoy an uninterrupted Christmas holiday without prejudice to the public interests;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby proclaim Saturday, thirty-first, December nineteen hundred and sixty, as a special public holiday.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
