EXTENDING THE 1960 NATIONAL FUND AND EDUCATIONAL DRIVE OF THE PHILIPPINE TUBERCULOSIS SOCIETY, INC., UP TO DECEMBER 31, 1960

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 691 date August 2, 1960, authorized the Philippine Tuberculosis Society, Inc., to conduct its annual national fund and educational campaign from August 19, 1960, to September 30, 1960, in order to enable it to pursue further its public health program in the field of tuberculosis and thus help promote the general public health;

WHEREAS, unforseen events and developments have supervened, making it necessary for the 1960 Anti-TB Fund and Educational Drive to have more time to work out its fund campaign plans for the attainment of its goal of ₱600,000;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the period of the 1960 Anti-TB National and Educational Campaign up to and including December 31, 1960.
