[ Proclamation No. 665, April 11, 1960 ]

DECLARING APRIL 16, 1960, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY

WHEREAS, the 14th day (Holy Thursday) and the 15th day (Good Friday) of April, nineteen hundred and sixty, being public holidays, the 16th day (Saturday) of April, nineteen hundred and sixty, may be declared a special public holiday without any prejudice to the public interest;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, and there being sufficient reasons therefor, do hereby declare Saturday, April 16, 1960, as a special public holiday.
