[ Proclamation No. 664, April 8, 1960 ]

RESERVING FOR THE USE OF THE SOCIAL WELFARE ADMINISTRATION A CERTAIN PARCEL OF THE PRIVATE DOMAIN OF THE GOVERNMENT, SITUATED IN THE DISTRICT OF SAMPALOC, CITY OF MANILA

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of section 64 (o) of the Revised Administrative Code, in relation to section 1 of Republic Act No. 477, I, Carlos P. Garcia, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for the use of the Social Welfare Administration (SWA), under its administration, subject to private rights, if any there be, a certain parcel of the private domain of the Government situated in the District of Sampaloc, City of Manila, and more particularly described as follows:

“A parcel of land (Lot No. 60 of block No. 4005 of the cadastral survey of the City of Manila), situated on the SW. line of Calle Gastambide, District of Sampaloc. Bounded on the NE. by Calle Gastambide; on the SE. by lots Nos. 5& and 58 of block No. 4005; on the SW. by lot No. 58 of block No. 4005; and on the NW. by lots Nos. 62 and 69 of block No. 4005; . . . containing an area of 1,091.30 square meters, more or less. . . .”

Provided, that the necessary area needed for the widening of Gastambide Street in accordance with the adopted Development Plan of the City of Manila as recommended by the National Planning Commission in its Resolution No. 53, dated April 29, 1959, shall be excluded from the operation of this proclamation.1aшphi1
