DECLARING MONDAY, OCTOBER 19, 1959, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF BACOLOD

WHEREAS, the twenty-first anniversary of the organization of the City of Bacolod falls on October 19, 1959;

WHEREAS, the people of said city request that they be given full opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CARLOS P. GARCIA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Monday, October 19, 1959, as a special public holiday in the City of Bacolod.
