MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 605, July 27, 1959 ] EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 237, DATED DECEMBER 19, 1955, CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND SITUATED PARTLY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PAPAYA, NOW GENERAL TINIO, AND PARTLY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF STA. ROSA, PROVINCE OF NUEVA ECIJA, ISLAND OF LUZON, AND DECLARING THE SAME OPEN TO DISPOSITION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE PUBLIC LAND ACT Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of section 88 of Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended, I, CARLOS P. GARCIA, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation No. 237, dated December 19, 1955, certain parcels of land situated partly in the municipality of Papaya, now General Tinio, and partly in the municipality of Sta. Rosa, province of Nueva Ecija, Island of Luzon, and declare the same open to disposition under the provisions of the said Act, which parcels of land are more particularly described, to wit: “Beginning at a point marked “1” on Plan As 3265-IV which is equivalent to point 17 of Proclamation No. 237, series of 1955; thence due North 6,400 meters to point 2; thence North, 55° 00' E., 5,350 meters to point 3; a point in the north bank of Rio Chico river; thence following the Rio Chico river in a northwesterly direction 5,000 meters to point 4; thence N. 27° 00' W., 2,400 meters to point 5; thence N. 77° 00' W., 950 meters to point 6; thence due North, 500 meters to point 7; thence following the creek up to Tabuating River 1,370 meters to point 8; thence S. 48° 00' E., 1,600 meters to point 9; thence N. 87° 30' E., 950 meters to point 10; thence S. 45° 00' E., 950 meters to point 11; thence S. 76° 00' E., 1,100 meters to point 12; thence S. 53° 00' E., 1,450 meters to point 13; thence S. 69° 00' E., 1,000 meters to point 14; thence S. 41° 00' E., 1,500 meters to point 15; thence S. 34° 00' W., 350 meters to point 16; and a point on the north bank of the Rio Chico river; thence following the curve of the Rio Chico river in the Southeasterly direction 16,900 meters to point 17; beginning, containing, an area of 15,500 hectares, more or less.
