EXTENDING THE TWELFTH ANNUAL FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE PHILIPPINE NATIONAL RED CROSS

WHEREAS, the period from February 14 to March 31, 1959, was set aside for the twelfth annual fund campaign of the Philippine National Red Cross under Proclamation No. 540 dated October 18, 1958; and

WHEREAS, the campaign has been affected adversely by the failure of crops due either to drought or to disasters in many areas;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CARLOS P. GARCIA, President of the Philippines, do hereby extend the twelfth annual fund campaign of the Philippine National Red Cross up to April 30, 1959.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
