Proclamation No. 634

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NUMBERED SIXTY-FIVE, DATED JUNE THREE, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTY-SIX, ESTABLISHING THE BAGUIO-BONTOC SCENIC NATIONAL PARK, SO AS TO MODIFY THE DESCRIPTION OF ITS BOUNDARIES AND TO CHANGE ITS NAME TO MT. DATA NATIONAL PARK

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, hereby amend Proclamation Numbered Sixty-five, dated June three, nineteen hundred and thirty-six, establishing the Baguio — Bontoc Scenic National Park, by modifying the description of the boundaries of the said park and changing its name to "Mt. Data National Park," situated on the municipal districts of Tublay, Atok, Bokod, Kabayan, Kibungan, Buguias, Mankayan, and Ampusungan, subprovince of Benguet; municipal districts of Kiangan and Hunduan, subprovince of Ifugao; and municipal districts of Bauko, Banaao, Kayan, and Sabangan, subprovince of Bontoc; Mountain Province, Island of Luzon, and described in Bureau of Forestry Map No. N. P. 13-1, to wit:

Beginning at corner marked 1 on Bureau of Forestry Map No. N. P. 13-1, a kilometer post No. 15 on west side of the road, S. 18° E., 5,600 meters from the municipal district of Tublay, Benguet; thence N. 22° W., 120 meters to corner 2, a tikem tree, 30 cm. in diam., marked N. P. 1362/3, on a slope; thence N. 15° E., 240 meters to corner 3, a pine tree, 45 cm. in diam., marked N. P. 1362/5, on side of gully; thence N. 50° E., 180 meters to corner 4, a stone 60 x 60 x 80 cm., marked 1362/7, on top of a ridge; thence N. 28° E., 280 meters to corner 5, a stone 60 x 60 x 80 cm., marked containing an area of approximately 5,512 hectares.
