MALACAÑANG PALACE Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Proclamation No. 612 REVOKING PROCLAMATION NUMBERED SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY-NINE, SERIES OF NINETEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTY-FOUR, AS AMENDED BY PROCLAMATION NUMBERED THREE HUNDRED AND NINETY-NINE, SERIES OF NINETEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTY-NINE; AND ESTABLISHING AS MANLELUAG SPRING NATIONAL PARK FOR THE BENEFIT AND ENJOYMENT OF THE PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES THE PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAÑGATAREM, PROVINCE OF PANGASINAN, ISLAND OF LUZON. Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, hereby revoke Proclamation Numbered Six hundred and fifty-nine, dated February seventeen, nineteen hundred and thirty-four, as amended by Proclamation Numbered Three Hundred and ninety-nine, dated April twenty-eight, nineteen hundred and thirty-nine, reserving a parcel of land situated in the municipality of Marigatarem, Province of Pangasinan, as forest Teserve, known as "Manleluag Spring Forest Reserve"; and, pursuant to the provisions of section one of Act Number Thirty-nine hundred and fifteen, entitled "An Act providing for the establishment of national parks, declaring such parks as game refuges, and for other purposes," I hereby establish for park purposes for the benefit and enjoyment of the people of the Philippines and withdraw from sale, settlement, or other dispositions, subject to private rights, if any there be, the said parcel of public domain situated in the municipality of Mañgatarem, Province of Pangasinan, Island of Luzon, and described in the Bureau of Forestry Map No. N. P.‑29, to wit: Beginning at corner marked 1 on Bureau of Forestry Map N. P.‑29, an alibangbang tree, 35 cm. in dia., marked 2151/14, identical to corner 1, Manleluag Spring Forest Reserve (old) F. R.-39, which is N. 50° W., 715 meters, more or less, from barrio Manleluag, Mañatarem, Pangasinan; thence S. 12° W., 190 meters to corner 2, a banaba tree, 35 cm. in diam., marked 2151-13, identifical to corner 2, Manleluag Spring Forest Reserve (old) F. R.-39; thence S. 12° W., 190 meters to corner 3, a balinghasai tree, 25 cm. in diam., marked 2151/12, identifical to corner 4, Manleluag Spring Forest Reserve (old) F. R.-39; and thence S. 59° E., 175 meters to the point of beginning. Corners 1 to 6, and corners 14 to 18, inclusive, are marked with B. F. hatchet No. 23. Containing an area of approximately 91.7 hectares. The said parcel of land shall be known as the "Manleluag Spring National Park" and shall remain under the administration of the Bureau of Forestry, subject to the general executive control and supervision of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce.
