Proclamation No. 565

RESERVING FOR PLAZA PURPOSES A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE POBLACION, MUNICIPALITY OF NAGA, PROVINCE OF CEBU, ISLAND OF CEBU.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for plaza purposes, under the administration of the Municipal Government of Naga, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following parcel of the public domain, situated in the Poblacion, municipality of Naga, Province of Cebu, island of Cebu, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Swo-16493, to wit:

Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Swo-16493, S. 18° 38′ W. 171.02 m. from B. L. L. M. No. 1, Mp. of Naga, thence S. 82° 24′ E. 67.23 m. to point 2; S. 12° 02′ E. 108.46 m. to point 3; S. 3° 50′ W. 135.56 m. to point 4; N. 60° 22′ W. 33.09 m. to point 5; N. 11° 54′ E. 120.66 m. to point 6; N. 62° 21′ W. 84.16 m. to point 7; N. 25° 47′ E. 18.90 m. to point 8; N. 64° 17′ W. 19.31 m. to point 9; N. 8° 15′ E. 51.88 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 9,964 square meters.

Points 1 and 2, P. L. S./B. L. stone monuments; points 3 and 4, stakes; point 5, bamboo post; point 6, tree; points 7, 8 and 9, corner of stone walls.

Bounded on the north by property of Juan Mercado; on the east, by shore line of Bohol Strait; in the southwest by Calle Paterno and Calle; and on the west, by Calle and Calle General Luna.

Bearings true. Declination 1° 40’ E.
