MALACAÑANG PALACE Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Proclamation No. 445 RESERVING FOR CONSTABULARY PURPOSES A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE BARRIO OF TAFT, MUNICIPALITY OF SURIGAO, PROVINCE OF SURIGAO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO. Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-three of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for Constabulary purposes, under the administration of the Chief of Philippine Constabulary, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following parcel of the public domain, situated in the barrio of Taft, municipality of Surigao, Province of Surigao, Island of Mindanao, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Swo-16081, to wit: Lot No. 178-B, Bsd-61A5.—A parcel of land (lot No. 178-B of the subdivision plan Bsd-6145, being a portion of lot No. 178 of the cadastral survey of Surigao, G. L. R. O. Cadastral Record No. ), situated in the barrio of Taft, municipality of Surigao, Province of Surigao. Bounded on the NE., by sand bed of Surigao Strait and lot No. 178—A of the subdivision plan; on the SE., by lot No. 178-A of the subdivision plan; on the SW., by lot No. 178-A of the subdivision plan and Borromeo Street; and on the NW., by lot No. 177. Beginning at a point marked "1;" on plan, being S. 85° 42′ W., 367.94 m., more or less, from B. B. M. No. 3, Surigao cadastre No. 234, thence N. 35° 31′ W., 113.80 m. to point "2;" thence N. 50° 09′ E., 1.65 m. to point "3;" thence N. 48° 55′ E., 34.71 m. to point "4;" thence S. 49° 29′ E., 43.21 m. to .point "5;" thence N. 54° 51′ W., 43.01 m. to point "6;" thence S. 50° 07′ W., 30.90 m. to point "7;" thence S. 34° 43′ E., 113.60 m. to the point of beginning; containing an area of one hundred ninety-nine (199) square meters, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan; and on the ground, points "1" and "3" are marked by old monuments; point "2", and "4", by old B. L. concrete monuments; point "5", by an intersection; and points "6" and "7" by old stakes; bearings true; declination, 1° 50′ E.; date of the subdivision survey, September 1, 1926-March 30, 1931. NOTE.—This is lot No. 7372 of Surigao cadastre No. 234, case No. 1. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.
