MALACAÑAN PALACE Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES Proclamation No. 267 RESERVING FOR THE USE OF THE PHILIPPINE TUBERCULOSIS SOCIETY A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE BARRIO OF KIAS, CITY OF BAGUIO Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section seventy-six of Commonwealth Act Numbered One hundred and forty-one, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for use as a health resort under the administration of the Philippine Tuberculosis Society and the supervision of the Commissioner of Health and Welfare, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to forest laws and regulations, the following-described parcel of the public domain, situated in the barrio of Kias, City of Baguio, Island of Luzon, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Ir-447, to wit: Lot No. 1.—Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Ir-447, S. 75° 40’ E. 2,189.37 m. more or less, from triangulation station Boyd, City of Baguio, thence S. 2° 53’ E. 138.11 m. to point 2; South 65.58 m. to point 3; S. 17° 46’ E. 59.65 m. to point 4; S. 50° 26’ E. 39.54 m. to point 5; S. 57° 49’ E. 68.23 m. to point 6; S. 15° 09’ E. 80.61 m. to point 7; S. 0° 56’ E. 62.55 m. to point 8; 29° 40’ E. 120.88 m. to point 9; S. 71° 14’ E. 56.64 m. to point 10; S. 36° 29’ E. 42.57 m. to point 11; S. 24° 47’ W. 115.97 m. to point 12; S. 0° 42’ W. 89.10 m. to point 13; S. 17° 23’ E. 76.12 m. to point 14; S. 86° 334’ E. 73.54 m. to point 15; S. 30° 18’ E. 29.91 m. to point 16; S. 84° 39’ W. 271.85 m. to point 17; N. 65° 46’ W. 171.82 m. to point 18; N. 58° 52’ W. 175.05 m. to point 19; N. 17° 12’ W. 247.88 m. to point 20; N. 12° 56’ W. 140 29 m. to point 21; N. 6° 25’ W. 219.84 m. to point 22; N. 64° 56’ E. 219.82 m. to point 23; N. 60° 45’ E. 196.64 m. to point 1, point of beginning. Containing an area of 37,1500 hectares. Points 18 and 19, galvanized iron spikes on crosses on trees; and the rest are B. L. concrete monuments, 15 by 60 cm. Bounded on the north, by Kias Road; on the northeast and east, by Balatoc Road and Kias Road; and on the south, southwest, west, and northwest, by public land. Bearings true. Declination 0° 17’ E. Points referred to are marked on Bureau of Lands plan Ir-447. Surveyed: June 16-July 29, 1937. Aprroved: October 28, 1937.
