Proclamation No. 106

RESERVING FOR PENAL COLONY PURPOSES TWO PARCELS OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICTS OF KORONADAL AND BUAYAN, PROVINCE OF COTABATO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-one of Act Numbered Twenty-eight hundred and seventy-four, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for penal colony purposes, under the administration of the Director of Prisons, subject to future delimitation and survey and to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcels of the public domain, situated in the barrio of Tupe, municipal district of Koronadal, and in the barrios of Dandiangas and Makar, municipal district of Buayan, Province of Cotabato, Island of Mindanao, and particularly described in Bureau of Lands sketch plan, to wit:

Parcel "A" (situated in the sitios of Taplan, Maltana, Marbol, Palian, Talañgan, Bulnabo, Tampakan, Nabol, Elnama, and Colodapoc, barrio of Tupe, municipal district of Koronadal, Province of Cotabato.) Beginning at a point marked "1" on sketch plan, being N. 15ْ 00’ W. 16,000 m. to point 2; due East 4,500 m. to point 3; due South 400 m. to point 4; due East 2,300 m. to point 5; S. 60ْ 00’ E. 6,500 m. to point 6; S. 45ْ 00’ E. 2,500 m. to point 7; S. 36ْ 00’ E. 3,000 m. to point 8; S. 25ْ 00’ E. 6,000 m. to point 9; S. 45ْ 00’ W. 1,000 m. to point 10; due West 10,000 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 14,000 hectares (more or less).

Points 1 and 2 are following the course of Marbol River; point 2, 3, 4, and 5, are old monuments; and points 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are tops of hills.

Bounded on the north, by Flat Valley; on the northeast, by Pastor Kimpo Cattle Ranch, mountains, and ColmanValley; on the southeast, by mountains; on the south, by Flat Valley; and on the west, by Marbol River and Flat Valley.

Parcel "B" (situated in the barrios of Dandiañgas and Makar, municipal district of Buayan, Province of Cotabato.)—Beginning at a point marked "1" on sketch plan, being S. 40ْ 00’ E. 1,500 m. to point 2; S. 50ْ 00’ W. 1,200 m. to point 3; S. 45ْ 00’ E. 700 m. to point 4; S. 50ْ 00’ W. 900 m. to point 5; S. 17ْ 00’ E. 1,300 m. to point 6; S. 10ْ 00’ W. 200 m. to point 7; N. 17ْ 00’ W. 1,300 m. to pint 8; N. 45ْ 00’ W. 800 m. to point 9; S. 85ْ 00’ W. 400 m. to point 10; N. 45ْ 00’ W. 1,600 m. to point 11; S. 50ْ 00’ E. 2,500 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 600 hectares (more or less).

Points 2, 3, and 4 are concreter monuments of proposed Makar townsite; points 8, 9, 10, and 11 are corners of S. A. No. 6834; points 5, 6, 7, and 12, are stakes.

Bounded on the northeast, by public lands; Makar townsite, and school site; on the southeast, by Makar townsite, and school site; on the southeast, by Makar townsite and school site; on the southwest, by Makar townsite, El Hogar Filipino (SA. 6834), and mountains; and on the northwest, by mountains and public land.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.
