Proclamation No. 2

CALLING THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY INTO A SPECIAL SESSION COMMENCING NOVEMBER 25, 1935, AND REVOKING PROCLAMATION NO. 1

Whereas, by Proclamation Numbered One issued on November fifteen, nineteen hundred and thirty-five, the National Assembly was called in special session commencing on the twenty-second day of November, nineteen hundred thirty-five;

Whereas, it has been found necessary and expedient to postpone the holding of such special session and to limit the period as well as the purposes thereof;

Now, therefore, I, Manuel L. Quezon, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers conferred upon me by the Constitution and the existing laws, hereby call the National Assembly into a special session for a period of fifteen days commencing Monday, November twenty-fifth, nineteen hundred thirty-five, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering and passing upon such legislation and other matters as may, from time to time, be submitted by the President for consideration. Proclamation number one, issued on November fifteenth, nineteen hundred thirty-five, is hereby revoked and declared without any further force and effect.
