Proclamation No. 14

RESERVING A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN IN THE BARRIO OF PINAMITINAN, MUNICIPALITY OF BASEY, PROVINCE OF SAMAR FOR LIGHTHOUSE PURPOSES.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce and pursuant to the provisions of section eighty-four, as amended, I hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for lighthouse purposes, subject to private rights, if any there be, the following-described parcel of the public domain, situated in the barrio of Pinamitinan, municipality of Basey, Province of Samar, Island of Mariquit-daquit, and more particularly described in Bureau of Lands plan Ir-243, to wit:

Beginning at a point marked 1 on Bureau of Lands plan Ir-243, S. 80 ْ07’ E. 21.40 m. from triangulation station "Mar,"C. & G.S. Mariquit-daquit Island, thence S. 76 ْ 19’ W. 32.74 m. to point 2; S. 15 ْ19’ W. 7.15 m. to point 3; S. 59 ْ30’ W. 23.35 m. to point 4; N. 61 ْ01’ W. 7.64 m. to point 5; N. 34 ْ58’ W. 9.70 m. to point 6; N. 26 ْ45’ E. 9.98 m. to point 7; N. 33 ْ50’ W. 39.94 m. to point 8; N. 29 ْ04’ E. 12. 16 m. to point 9; S. 87 ْ 07’ E. 22.10 m. to point 10; S. 57 ْ36’ E. 18.25 m. to point 11; N. 75 ْ25’ E. 57.17 m. to point 12; S. 44 ْ30’ E. 1056 m. to point 13; S. 8 ْ25’ W. 16.32 m. to point 14; S. 4 ْ13’ W. 7.20 m. to point 15; S. 42 ْ43’ W. 11.39 m. to point 16; S. 79 ْ30’ W. 11.86 m. to point 1, point of beginning.

Containing an area of 4,090 square meters.

Point 1, drilled hole on permanent rock and marked B. L. Bounded on all sides by Leyte Gulf.

Bearing true. Declination, 1 ْ30’ E.

Points referred to are marked on Bureau of Lands plan Ir-243.

Surveyed, June 26, 1935.

NOTE.—All corners not otherwise described are edges of rocks.
