CREATING A WORKING COMMITTEE TO TAKE CHARGE OF THE PLEDGING CEREMONY ON DECEMBER 10, 1992 IN COMMEMORATION OF THE “NATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS WEEK”

In commemoration of the “National Human Rights Week”, there shall be a pledging ceremony to reaffirm adherence to the principles of human rights and international humanitarian law to be held on December 10, 1992 at 8:30 A. M. at the Liwasang Bonifacio, Manila.

By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby create a Working Committee to take charge of the aforesaid ceremony.

The Committee shall be composed of the following:

Commission on Human Rights Chairman
Office of the President Vice Chairman
Department of Justice Member
Department of National Defense Member
Department of the Interior and Local Government Member
Department of Education, Culture and Sports Member
Department of Foreign Affairs Member
Department of Budget and Management Member

The Committee shall meet at the call of the Chairman and for purposes of discharging its functions, it may create such sub-committees as may be necessary.

The Committee is hereby authorized to call upon any department, bureau, office or agency or instrumentality of the government including government-owned or controlled corporations for such assistance as it may need in the discharge of its functions.
