[ Memorandum Order No. 410, December 16, 1991 ]

DESIGNATING THE HEAD OF THE PRESIDENTIAL MANAGEMENT STAFF OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT TO ACT AS CHAIRMAN OF THE STANDING COMMITTEE FOR THE PROGRAM TO REFOCUS ORIENTATION FOR THE POOR (PRO-POOR) ESTABLISHED UNDER EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 370 DATED 25 SEPTEMBER 1989

WHEREAS, under Section 5 of Executive Order No. 370 dated 25 September 1989, the Standing Committee of the Program to Refocus Orientation for the Poor (PRO-POOR) is headed by the Presidential Adviser on Rural Development;

WHEREAS, the chairmanship of the PRO-POOR Standing Committee has been rendered vacant by the resignation of the Presidential Adviser on Rural Development; and

WHEREAS, under Section 7 of Executive Order No. 370, the technical and secretariat services to the Standing Committee shall be provided by the Office of the President, without identifying the constituent unit therein, which shall be the central monitoring arm of the PRO-POOR;

FOR THE FOREGOING REASONS, the following are hereby directed:

Section 1. The Head of the Presidential Management Staff of the Office of the President is hereby designated to act as the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Program to Refocus Orientation for the Poor (PRO-POOR).1aшphi1

Section 2. The Presidential Management Staff is likewise hereby designated to provide the technical support and secretariat services to the Standing Committee of the PRO-POOR.

Section 3. This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
