[ Memorandum Order No. 342, February 7, 1991 ]

ESTABLISHING THE YOUTH ACTION AND INFORMATION DESK

There is hereby established under the Presidential Complaints and Action Office, a Youth Action and Information Desk, hereinafter referred to as the Youth Desk, with the following functions:

1. Establish and maintain special services and assistance to the youth sector, in line with the powers and functions of the PCAO;

2. Encourage, coordinate, and facilitate the mobilization and participation of various youth organizations in support of the special programs and public services of the PCAO;

3. Provide an information, public relations, and counselling system, on policies, programs and services of the government affecting the youth; and

4. Perform such other functions as authorized by the President.

Mr. Ralph Michael R. Dulay of the Presidential Council for Youth Affairs is hereby designated as Officer in Charge of the Youth Desk. Mr. Dulay shall submit monthly reports on the activities of the Youth Desk to the Office of the President.

The Presidential Council for Youth Affairs, through the Chief Executive Officer, is hereby directed to provide the necessary technical and administrative support to the Youth Desk.1aшphi1
