CREATING A PROJECT FACILITATION COMMITTEE  UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

Further to the President’s Memorandum dated November 4, 1987, on the designation of Senior Officers and Central Project Staff with Departments and major Government Corporations, a Project Facilitation Committee (PFC) is hereby created composed of the following membership:

The Committee Chairman as Presidential Adviser for Public Resource Utilization shall be coordinating with your Office through your designated Project Implementation Officer (PIO) and your Central Project Unit (CPU).

The Committee shall catalyze actions, identify and unclog bottlenecks both at policy and procedural levels and monitor results of the thrust of the government to intensify its efforts for the preparation, prioritization, selection and implementation of projects.1aшphi1

The Committee shall report to the President, thru Finance Secretary Vicente R. Jayme, who is hereby designated as the Cabinet Officer in charge of the PFC.

The Committee is authorized to call upon any department, bureau, office, agency or any instrumentality of the government, including government-owned and controlled corporations, for such assistance as it may need in discharging its duties and functions.
