[ Memorandum Order No. 765, December 3, 1982 ]

PROHIBITING EMPLOYEES IN THIS OFFICE FROM FOLLOWING UP OR INTERSECTING IN BEHALF OF PARTIES CONCERNED IN CONNECTION WITH THE AUTHENTICATION OF DOCUMENTS IN THE LEGAL OFFICE.

It has come to my attention that certain employees in this Office are following up or personally interceding on behalf of parties concerned in connection with the authentication of documents in the Legal Office. These follow-ups or intercessions by the said employees not only interfere with the normal processing of papers but also give rise to possible unwholesome practices which should be avoided. Accordingly, all employees in this Office are hereby prohibited from following up or interceding on behalf of certain parties in facilitating action or-their documents for authentication.

The Legal Office is hereby advised not to entertain any employee who is following up or interceding on behalf of certain parties regarding their documents, and to submit to the undersigned the names of the said employee.

All chiefs of divisions and other primary units in this Office shall be held responsible in strictly enforcing the provisions of this Order.

This takes effect immediately.1aшphi1
