In view of the worsening land controversies in Surigao del Sur and for the speedy settlement of such cases, there is hereby created an inter-agency committee to be composed by the following:

It shall be the responsibility of the committee to conduct in-depth investigations and to recommend solutions to the land problems.1aшphi1 It shall also undertake extensive land surveys, census and come up with a program for those settlers who may be displaced.
The findings/recommendations shall then be submitted to the Presidential Management Staff not later than June 30, 1982.
This order shall take effect immediately.
