[ Memorandum Order No. 720, April 10, 1981 ]

AMENDING MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 697 DATED 5 JULY 1980

WHEREAS, the comprehensive rehabilitation and development program of the government for Southern Philippines instituted under Memorandum Order No. 697 dated 5 July 1980 covers the whole Southern Philippines;

WHEREAS, there is need to include leaders and representatives from the four regions of Southern Philippines, to wit: Region IX, Region X, Region XI, and Region XII; and

WHEREAS, representatives and leaders of Region IX and Region XII have already been designated members of the presidential Committee;

NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby ordered that the following representatives of Region X and Region XI be included in the Presidential Committee:

(a) Chairman, Regional Development Council – Member Region X

(b) Chairman, Regional Development Council – Member Region XI

Memorandum Order No. 697 dated 5 July 1980 is hereby amended accordingly.

This Order takes effect immediately.
