REQUIRING SUBMISSION ON TIME OF THE PERIODIC PERFORMANCE RATINGS OF EMPLOYEES.

It has been observed that heads of primary units and offices have not been submitting the Periodic Performance Ratings of employees in their respective units or offices. Under the system of Performance Evaluation employees are to be rated twice a year, with each rating period covering six months, the first from January 1 to June 30 and the second, from July 1 to December 31.

The performance ratings of employees is an indispensable factor in screening candidates for promotions and without these ratings the promotions boards in this office cannot function.1aшphi1

All Chiefs of primary units and offices are hereby enjoined to submit the performance ratings off employees not later than the first week of July for the first rating period ending June 30, and on the first week of January for the second rating period ending December 31. Recommendations for promotions from units and offices which fail to comply with this schedule shall not be given due course until the next rating period immediately following. The performance ratings for the periods ending December 31, 1979 and of June 30, 1980 should be submitted within 15 days from the issuance of this order. The Administrative Office shall see to it that this order is strictly complied with.
