REQUIRING ALL SUPERVISORS AND HEADS OF DIVISIONS IN-CHARGE OF RATING THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES TO ATTEND THE CSC-SPONSORED FOLLOW-UP SEMINAR ON THE NEW PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL SYSTEM ON NOVEMBER 14, 1979.

As we are now in the second phase of the implementation of the new Performance Appraisal System in this Office, there is need to assess the problems and difficulties which have been encountered by the rating supervisors in the actual implementation of the system to determine what changes to introduce to make it more applicable and effective in evaluating employees performance.

Accordingly, the Civil Service Commission is conducting a follow-up seminar on the new Performance Appraisal System (PAS) to be held at the Briefing Room from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on November 14, 1979.1aшphi1 All supervisors and heads of divisions in this Office who are charged with the responsibility of rating the performance of their employees are required to attend this seminar. They should bring with them in the seminar the following requirements:

1. List of the functions of their organizations;

2. Their individual position description forms, duly accomplished; and

3. Their work programs.

All heads of offices/primary units of this Office are hereby enjoined to see to it that their supervisors attend and benefit from this seminar. They are required to submit to the Personnel Unit the names of their participating supervisors not later than November 12, 1979.
