AUTHORIZING THE HOLDING OF A CONTINUOUS TRAINING IN EDUCATION AND LEADERSHIP IN COOPERATIVES IN THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

In line with the policy of the government to foster the creation and growth of cooperatives as a means of increasing the income of low-income sector, as declared in Memorandum Circular No. 72 of this Office, there is need to acquaint and familiarize our employees with the history, philosophies, concepts, principles, practices and management of cooperatives whose membership permeates the ranks of employees in both the government and private sectors.  This training will provide the participants with the necessary know-how to be able to assist in the formation of cooperatives in their respective communities and an over-all involvement in the cooperative movement.

In view of the foregoing, it is hereby authorized to hold a continuous training in Education and Leadership in Cooperatives in the Office, of the President from time to time as the need arises.1aшphi1 The two consultants on Cooperatives will take charge of all training and seminars on cooperatives with the assistance and cooperation of all offices and units involved.

Four classes consisting of seven sessions each, beginning 27 and May 21 to May 29, 1979 are hereby authorized. One group shall hold its session in the morning in the afternoon from 8:00 to 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. respectively, at the Briefing Room, 4th floor, Administration Building, but the assistant services are not to be pay

All chiefs of offices and primary units in this Office are hereby urged to submit nominees to the Administrative Office not later than April 17, 1979.
