AUTHORIZING THE HOLDING IN THIS OFFICE OF A TWO-DAY SEMINAR ON DISASTER PREPAREDNESS AND CONTROL TO BE ATTENDED STRICTLY BY CSC-JET GRADUATES AND PRESENT JET PARTICIPANTS.

Pursuant to Letter of Instructions No. 453, urging all heads of departments to allow their junior executives to attend disaster-preparedness and control training workshops, and to make available for the purpose their office facilities and resources, as a way of involving them in the government’s effort to avert great loss of lives and property during calamities, all supervisors in the Office of the President who have completed the CSC-sponsored Junior Executive Training Program including those who are presently attending the same course, are hereby required to attend a two-day seminar-workshop on disaster-preparedness and control to be conducted by this Office in coordination with the Department of Social Services and Development, the National Disaster Control Center, the Civil Service Commission and the Junior Executive Officer’s (JESO) Guild. The seminar-workshop shall be a whole day affair for two days on April 21-22, 1977, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and then from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Briefing Room.

All heads of primary units and offices are hereby enjoined to authorize their JET graduates and participants of the current JET course to attend the seminar-workshop as herein scheduled.1aшphi1
