AUTHORIZING THE HOLDING OF A SUPERVISORY DEVELOPMENT COURSE IN THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT.

In line with the government efforts at intensifying in-service training programs to raise the level of efficiency and competence in the service there is urgent need to reorient section chiefs and others occupying positions of equivalent rank in the Office of the President on the fundamentals of management and techniques of supervision. Like division heads, section chiefs occupy critical positions in the organizational set-up of the Office of the President as they are strategically placed at the operational lines to be responsible for the implementation of policies. They are directly involved, in the decision-making and task-execution processes in the Office of the President.

For all the foregoing, there is hereby authorized the holding of the Supervisory Development course in the Office of the President from August 16, 1976 to September 27, 1976. The sessions shall be conducted every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:30 P. M. to 4:30 P. M., at the Briefing Room, 4th Floor of the Administration Building.1aшphi1

In view of the importance of this course, all chiefs of offices and primary units in this Office are hereby urged to submit a list of their nominees to this course (at least three from each division and primary unit) to the Administrative Office not later than Monday, August 2, 1976.
