[ MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 487, February 5, 1975 ]

CREATING AN INTER-AGENCY COMMITTEE TO REVIEW THE DRAFT REVISED PHILIPPINE MERCHANT MARINE REGULATIONS 1975

There is hereby created an Inter-Agency Committee to review the proposed Revised Philippine Merchant Marine Regulations 1975 (RPMMR), drafted by the Philippine Coast Guard and rehired to be published under Letter of Instructions No. 208 of August 12, 1974 the membership of which is as follows:

Representative of the Department of Justice Chairman
Representative of the Department of Industry Vice-Chairman
Representative of the Department of Trade Member
Representative of the Department of Education and Culture Member
Representative of the Maritime Industry Authority Member
Representative of the Bureau of Customs Member
Representative of the Philippine Coast Guard Member

Pursuant to the aforementioned objective, the Committee shall undertake the following:

1. Study the proposed RPMMR and make the necessary amendment, modification, alteration, change or cancellation therein to make it conform to the Constitution and existing laws and policies of the government; and

2. Submit to this Office within thirty (30) days from date hereof a final draft of the regulations,

All government departments, bureaus, offices, agencies and instrumentalities are hereby enjoined to extend the necessary cooperation and assistance to the Committee for the successful completion of its functions.
