CREATING AN EDP MANAGEMENT AUDIT COMMITTEE TO STUDY AND EVALUATE THE COMPUTERIZATION program OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

In line with the provisions of Executive Order No. 322, s. 1971, Office of the President, and Presidential Decree No. 1-A, s. 1972 regarding the integrated development and implementation of computerization programs of the national government, an EDP Management Audit Committee is hereby created to look into, study and evaluate the computerization requirements and existing programs of the Department of Local Government Community Development (DLGCD).1aшphi1

The Management Audit Committee shall be composed of the following:

1. Mr. SIMEON VENTURA N C C Chairman
2. Dr. Emmanuel V. Soriano UP/NCI Member
3. Mr. Amante C. Villabroza N C C Member
4. Mr. Daniel Cachola N C C Member
5. Mrs. Rosario Amor N C C Member
6. Mrs. Susan U. Ordinario N C C Member

The Committee shall be charged with the following responsibilities:

1. Determine the long and short-range EDP requirements of DLGCD

2. Study and evaluate the present, computerization program and existing EDP organizations or units of DLGCD in order to determine whether they are consistent with and should fulfill the Departments objectives, plans and EDP requirements.

3. Determine alternatives open to DLGCD and recommend an organizational set-up and a working framework which shall be optimal in fulfilling the Department’s EDP requirements.

The Committee is hereby authorized to call upon the Department of Local Government and Community Development for such assistance and cooperation as may be required to successfully discharge its functions.
