[ MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 457, August 25, 1974 ]

AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF ALLOWANCES FOR THE OVERSEAS ECONOMIC COOPERATION FUND (OECF) SECRETARIAT STAFF CREATED UNDER MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 422 DATED APRIL 15, 1974, PRESCRIBING THE CORRESPONDING RATES FOR THE PURPOSE, DETAIL AND DESIGNATION OF PERSONNEL THEREOF.

Pursuant to Memorandum Order No. 422 dated April 15, 1974, reconstituting the Presidential Coordinating Committee for Japanese-assisted projects created under Administrative Order No. 338, Series of 1972, and creating the Secretariat for the Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund (OECF) the following are hereby ordered:

1. The members of the reconstituted Presidential Coordinating Committee shall be entitled to a monthly allowance of five hundred pesos (?500.00) as reimbursement of expenses incurred in the discharge of their duties effective July 1, 1974.1aшphi1

The OECF Secretariat Staff shall be entitled to similar allowances in accordance with the following schedule:

Senior Professionals ₱350 – 400
Professionals ₱250 – 350
Researchers/Administrative Assistants ₱150 – 250

Effective July 1, 1974, or upon assumption to duty, as the case may be.

Payment of allowances shall be chargeable against the duly appropriated funds of the OECF Secretariat, subject to the availability of funds and to the unsual accounting and auditing requirements.

2. The Executive Secretary, upon recommendation of the Secretariat’s Director, shall authorize the detail of personnel from different agencies of the Government.1aшphi1 The Chairman, Presidential Coordinating Committee, upon recommendation of the Director, shall designate and/or appoint such temporary, casual and contractual personnel as may be deemed necessary for the accomplishment of the Secretariat’s functions and objectives.
