[ MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 414, March 22, 1974 ]

CREATING AN INTER-AGENCY TASK FORCE TO UNDERTAKE THE RELOCATION OF FAMILIES IN BO. NABACAAN, VILLANUEVA, MISAMIS ORIENTAL

There is hereby created an Inter-Agency Task Force to plan, coordinate and supervise the relocation of the residents of Bo. Nabacaan, Villanueva, Misamis Oriental to an appropriate site. This relocation is necessitated by the steps now being taken to set up an industrial estate in that area.

The Inter-Agency Task Force shall be composed of the following:

Representative from the Development Management Staff Chairman
Representative from the Philippine Veterans Investment & Development Corporation Member
Representative from the Presidential Assistant on Housing and Resettlement Agency Member
Representative from the Bureau of Public Works Member
Representative from the Bureau of Public Highways Member
Representative from the People’s Homesite and Housing Corporation Member
Representative from the National Housing Corporation Member
Representative from the 52nd Engineering Brigade Member
Representative from the Department of Social Welfare Member

This Task Force is charged with the following duties and responsibilities:

1. To choose an adequate site for the relocation of Bo, Nabacaan;

2. To prepare or cause the preparation of plans and designs for the development; of this relocation site;

3. To program and administer the use of funds & appropriated for this project;

4. To supervise the implementation of these development plans;

5. To supervise the transfer of families from Bo. Nabacaan to the relocation site; and

6. To administer the area until the Industrial Estate Authority shall have been established.1aшphi1

The Inter-Agency Committee shall continue to exist and exercise its functions as provided for in this Memorandum Order until such time as an Industrial Estate Authority is established for the area.

This Order shall take effect immediately.
