CREATING A MULTI-AGENCY PROJECT COMMITTEE FOR THE WORLD BANK POPULATION LOAN PROPOSAL
In order to facilitate the completion of all preparatory work for the proposed World Bank loan to support the Philippine population program, there is hereby created a Multi-Agency Project Committee composed of the following:

In general, this Committee shall be responsible for completing the necessary preparatory work to enable early appraisal by the World Bank of the proposed population loan. Among others, the work will consist of a study of the health center network, health and family planning training centers, community centers and midwifery schools. The Committee will undertake a physical inventory of all Rural Health Units (RHU’s) and determine the extent to which RHU’s must be repaired, rebuilt, transferred to another location or given extensions, annexes or community centers.
The Committee is authorized to avail of the assistance of consultants and to call upon any government agency or office for whatever assistance as it may deem necessary in discharging its functions.1aшphi1
