FURTHER ENJOINING STRICT OBSERVANCE OF MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 210 DATED OCTOBER 29, 1968, AS REITERATED BY MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 217 DATED FEBRUARY 15, 1971, PROMULGATING RULES GOVERNING THE CONTROVERSION OF COMPENSATION CASES INVOLVING EMPLOYEES OF THIS OFFICE.

It has been observed that some officials of this Office have accomplished and submitted to the Department of Labor the “Employer’s Report of Accident or Sickness” form in condensation cases involving this Office as employer, in violation of Rule No. 2 of Memorandum Circular No. 210 dated October 29, 1963, as reiterated by Memorandum Order No. 217 dated February 15, 1971, vesting the power and duty to submit the notice of controversion upon the head of the office or agency concerned, in this Office, the Assistant Executive Secretary for Administrative Affairs.

It is therefore hereby strictly enjoined that henceforth the “Employer’s Report of Accident or Sickness” form shall be signed and submitted to the Department of Labor only by the Assistant Executive Secretary for Administrative Affairs. Non-compliance herewith shall subject the officials or employees concerned to appropriate administrative disciplinary action.

This Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.1aшphi1
