[ Memorandum Order No. 283, April 3, 1972 ]

DESIGNATING CERTAIN UNITS IN THE EXECUTIVE OFFICE TO SUPERVISE THE UPKEEP OF THE OFFICES AND FACILITIES ON THE DIFFERENT FLOORS OF THE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING.

In order to insure the proper maintenance of the offices, including comfort rooms, stairways, closets, corridors and other facilities in the Administration Building (Executive Office Wing), the following units are hereby designated to supervise, in collaboration with the other units in the same floor and the Engineer’s Office, the upkeep of their respective areas in each floor, as indicated hereunder:

First Floor Records Office
Second Floor (Mezzanine Floor) Administrative Office
Third Floor Finance Office
Fourth Floor Local Governments & C A O
Fifth Floor Staff Secretariat

The chiefs of the supervising units mentioned above shall designate an inspector each who shall check on the cleanliness and proper condition of the areas under their respective supervision. The supervising unit head shall submit a daily progress report to the Executive Secretary, together with his comment and recommendation.

In order to provide an incentive to the different janitors and -mother maintenance workers assigned within the Executive Office Wing of the Administration Building, monthly prizes will be awarded to the janitors and the supervising unit of the floor which has been kept the -cleanest during the particular month. For this purpose, a committee is hereby created to select nominees for the monthly awards composed of the following:

Dr. Francisco R. Casanova Chairman
Engr. Timoteo Manzanero Member
Atty. Cecilio C. Villanueva Member

The Committee shall promulgate the rules and regulations to govern the selection of nominees and shall submit to the Executive Secretary within the week after each month the recommendees for awards for the preceding month.1aшphi1

This Order shall take effect on April 1, 1972.
