[ Memorandum Order No. 124, March 26, 1969 ]

PROVIDING FOR THE ROTATION OF PERSONNEL FOR AFTERNOON DUTY PURSUANT TO  EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 175 DATED MARCH 22, 1969.

Executive Order So. 175, current series, fixing the short office hours for the period from April 1 to June 15, 1969, provides in the fourth paragraph thereof that at least one-half of the personnel should be on duty in the afternoon.

Pursuant thereto, it is hereby required that:

1. Chiefs of divisions and primary units shall submit not later than March 28, 1969, for approval, the rotation schedule for afternoon duty of from 1:30 to 4:30 P.M. of the personnel of their respective divisions or units.

2. Employees assigned to render service beyond regular office hours with meal allowance when scheduled to be off duty from 1:3o to 4:30 P.M. shall render service for purposes of said allowance from 4:30 to 7:30 P.M.

3. As regards building and grounds maintenance personnel and laborers in the Buildings and Grounds Division, their enjoyment of the half-day session is hereby left to the discretion of the Chief of said division.

4. Notwithstanding the duty schedule that may be approved, it is understood that the chief of division or primary unit may require any number of personnel in his division or unit to render afternoon duty and/or service beyond the scheduled office hours if and when the exigencies of the service so demand.

5. A copy of the afternoon duty schedule, as approved, shall be furnished the Administrative Division.1aшphi1
